I reserve the right to turn down your commission request.!!WARNING!!
I do NOT work with minors! If you are under 18, do not commission me!! I do this because of liability issues, but I have nothing against you. Please wait until you are 18 or older to buy art from me. Thank you.
--------------------PAYMENT--------------------
Payment is 100% up front, no partial payments.
I’ll send you an invoice through Paypal, and I ask that you complete the payment within 48 hours of the request. Failure to do so within the given time frame results in the loss of your slot.
Tipping is allowed, at your own leisure.
I ONLY accept USD. No crypto or checks.
I do offer full refunds if the art has not been started on. Once the commission is past the sketching phase, only partial refunds are offered (the amount will depend on how far along I am).
--------------------REFERENCES--------------------
Please know what you want before coming to me! If you need to provide a sketch of a certain pose or a collage to help me get the right idea for a piece, I am down with that! Anything helps!
Please provide references (it’s fine if they are NSFW, I’m not particularly bothered by those), especially for your characters! I ask that you provide a reference that does not have shading in it, as I do not want to accidentally mistake shading for a marking.
If you don’t have any photos, I can do just fine with a description. Make it as detailed as you need to!
If you do not wish to provide a description (for whatever reason, like not feeling a description does it justice) and do not have any photos, feel free to draw the character as best you can. Again, anything helps!
--------------------TIME FRAME--------------------
My turnaround time ranges from 1-2 weeks, depending on the piece and where you are in the queue.
Sometimes delays can happen due to work or other things (illness/health emergencies, being out of state, etc.), although this is a rare occurrence.
If an issue/delay arises, I will notify you immediately.
Also, please feel free to check my schedule, it is available for viewing here on my Carrd.
--------------------AVAILABILITY & MESSAGING--------------------
Please respect that I’m a person who has a life outside my art, so I am not always available.
I would like to note that this is just a side gig and not my main source of income! I work a 5-day (8 hours a day) job, so I’m busy for a solid chunk of the week.
If I am not online, you may leave a message. I promise I’ll respond as soon as I’m able.
Please do not constantly message me, especially asking about progress. It distracts me from my work. When I get to a certain point, I’ll get back to you with progress pics.
I don’t mind you asking questions in regards to your piece, but please do not get personal and buddy buddy with me (unless we are already acquainted).
Do not try to get free art out of me, flirt/rp/etc. with me, or try to bribe me into drawing anything I refuse to draw (ie. NSFW). You will be blacklisted.
--------------------WIPS--------------------
WIP’s are provided, from the initial sketch up to the finale.
If you need something changed please notify me immediately! You have every right to ask me to change something if it isn’t correct/to your liking. This is your commission.
However, if you continuously ask me to make changes, especially large ones, I will start charging you for it.
--------------------OWNERSHIP--------------------
All of my pieces are watermarked/signed and will remain that way.
Please do not claim my work as your own, otherwise you will be blacklisted. Especially do not try to remove my watermark/signature.
You may use the art for personal things (like icons, banners, etc.), and you may repost it as long as I am credited and my watermark/signature is still on the piece.
Nothing made by 0CE4N-M4N (me) may be used in any blockchain-related or AI-related technology, to include NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space. If so, you will be blacklisted.
If you upload the art to Toyhouse, please credit me with my user (0CE4N-M4N).
I have the right to use my commissioned works for advertisement purposes.
If the art you commissioned from me is for a personal character and you end up selling said character, you are prohibited from using my art to add value to the character.

For my digital art, I usually just do a semi-rough sketch in gray and put a cleaner sketch over it (all done in SAI 2). However, sometimes when I have good ideas, I do not have my laptop on me. In these situations, I keep my iPad on my person to scribble out any ideas that might pop in my head.I have two different drawing styles; One is painting and the other is thick lineart. For painting, once a sketch is to my liking, I will begin to “color block” it. This is basically just me filling in the sketch with whatever colors I wish to use for the base of the piece. My typical brush of choice in SAI 2 has something called “hue jitter” on it, and I can adjust it to my liking (I keep it on 18% and will lower it to 8% if the color I am using ends up having too many varying hues, as this can often occur with reds, yellows, and blues)Once I’ve finished color blocking, I will begin lighting/shading. I typically use the burn/dodge filters as it gives some neat-looking colors, but will sometimes mess with other filtering if burn/dodge doesn’t quite cut it.Afterwards I check that everything looks good/make a few little adjustments. If I am feeling up to it, I will add more detailing to the work.If I wish to add a background that is an environment and not abstract/a pattern, I will go through the same process.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~For my traditional art, I start with a pencil sketch. I’ve been doing this the same way since high school, but I always use a basic mechanical pencil for my sketches, as I have never been too picky with my tools and it gets the job done. I use thick paper though, so I have to be careful not to put too much pressure on the pencil otherwise it creates little indents that make it difficult to erase the sketch. The only traditional artstyle I use is the thick lineart one I’ve been doing for years. I am wishing to expand my horizons, but that will be for another time. The reason I use thick paper is because with my lineart style, I use Sharpies and they bleed through paper easily. The thick paper is very good at preventing the marker from bleeding all the way through to the other side.Once the sketch is completed, I will do an outline of the lineart, then erase the sketch.I will then fill in the lineart. If I make any mistakes, I use a white ink pen to cover them (white paint can also be used but you can be more precise with a pen).
